A lots of my friend ask me what to look out when choosing their dream home. Is facing south is good as most of the fengshui magazine mentioned that. Is facing east good for him? When some fengshui master quoted him high fee range from 2k to 5k for choosing house ( excluding home fengshui services) etc.
My reply to him is : Are you getting quote from those few famous FSM?
Friend: Yes, but don’t you think the fee just for choosing house are astonishing high?
Me: You are lucky bro, those FSM is telling you the true, if you are expecting any FSM to quote you a hundred dollars to choose a house for you then most properly either you will never get a good fengshui house or he only good in home fengshui.
Home fengshui is improving the FS inside the existing house, if you had a bad house orientation, we FS practitioners will never disclose to you but only concentrate on the inner fengshui, using flying star, main door dragon , black hat fengshui etc.
It’s like a farmer A start a wine vineyard. Expecting his Chardonnay to ripe but the 🍇 doesn’t met his expectations, so he invite expertises to study his grape-yard and start the costly improvements works.
Farmer B know that the soil PH, nearby water sources, wind flow path, sun orientation is the primary factors that affect the harvesting. He spent few months seeking for suitable plots and engage expertises to conduct soil test, environment check etc and finally had his vineyard few miles near farmer A.
If your do not meet your primary requirements, all implementation after that is merely improving on the exist landmark.
Why do FSM charge so high for new house selection?
1) The time involvement - It’s common that the whole process can range from few months to few years
2) The FS skills require is more complexing. Interior home fengshui study is much easy, basic FSM will be using Xuan Kong Fei Xing 玄空飞星(popular know as “Flying star “), Eigh Mansion School 八宅 . Master level also using Dragon Gate Eight Formation School 三元龍門八局.
For a complete house fengshui, you need to master skills of the interior fengshui and also exterior fengshui. Those are as following:-
A) SAN He Luan Tou 三合峦头, Environmental appearance and Land formations School
B ) 三合水法 Water methods School
C) 青龙、白虎、朱雀、玄武。The Four Celestial Guardians
D) 理气，生气，煞气 Li Qi, Shen Qi, Sha Qi
E) 望氣 Wang Qi ( very few FSM have this gifted ability)

3) The Untold Rules. A FSM can only do maximum 2 time full set per year. 10 times half set per year. For 5k, should be half set package.
It is best if we can get the external form environment in a good shape before apply to any formula, however, not everyone will be lucky to have it. Remember, focus on what you have rather than what you do not have. You first need to have it before you can use it, so, use what you already have with you, to create what you want to have, that should be the way.
